As blogs are quickly regaining their popularity and being seen as a key tool for businesses around the world and not just artsy, self absorbed writers who like to listen to their own thoughts about politics, consumerism, and the like, we would like to remind you to…  Exercise Your Power of Influence with Passion through the simple medium of blog posting.

I know, you’re thinking wow that was a little intense, but seriously if you are operating a blog for business purposes how often are your posts about influencing, educating and opening up the floodgates of your passion? You need to get back to the main point and purpose of facilitating a business blog and the bottom line shouldn’t be about money. It should be about giving your readers something valuable to read that will show them that you truly are passionate about what you do and you truly care about the people reading your words, not just about the next $1 they will spend on your products or services.

The other day I had the joy of meeting a new client of ours, his name as he likes to be called is Dr. C.  Dr. C owns and operates a Chiropractic office called ACT WELLNESS in Woodbridge, Northern Virginia. So, we sat down for a meeting this past Wednesday about his companies Vision and Business Strategy and boy was I blown away by this man’s passion for his work and his passion for educating people on chiropractic health. The meeting was actually the first initial step in setting up his own blog (we are in the process of building him a blog as a supplemental tool to his website). The great thing about Dr. C is that he wasn’t concerned about how his blog will increase his SEO or bring in more business or anything having to do with money (although inadvertently it will). He was just excited to have a tool that would allow him to write about his passion for Chiropractic Health and share it with his clients, consumers and people around the world.

I tell you, sitting down and talking with Dr. C was truly an enlightening experience. It reminded me why I we Core Impact Consulting to begin with and it was because we have a passion for helping people pursue their dreams of owning and operating a successful business. It’s the American Dream to own your own business and it’s our goal to help them do it successfully.

So remember to Exercise Your Power of Influence with Passion the next time you write a blog post. Sharing your knowledge will not only educate them, but influence them to make better, more informed decisions about life. And isn’t it time we all worked towards making life a little bit better for everyone.
